Chris Waples
Chris is the Managing Director of Bartons and leads the Business Advisory and Tax team. His qualifications include BA(Acc), FCA CTA FAICD. He is also a member of the Bartons Medical team and a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years’ experience.
Chris is on the board of Australian Palliative Link International Inc., and Surgical Volunteers Ltd. In his spare time, Chris relishes spending time with his family, fishing, travelling and appreciating good food and wine.
Leanne Carnegie-Smith
Leanne is a Director with Bartons and a Chartered Accountant. Her qualifications include BA(Acc), CA. She manages Bartons extensive and long established portfolio of clients' Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSF’s).
Leanne specialises in superannuation strategy, estate planning, business establishment and capital gains taxation. In her spare time, Leanne enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Adam McCann
Adam is a Director with Bartons. He leads the Bartons Financial Planning and Lending Team and is a key point of contact for medical professionals and practices to access our integrated offering across tax, accounting, wealth management, risk protection and lending.
Adam draws on his specialised insights to guide medical professionals and Bartons’ professional and executive clients to optimise their financial position today to ensure long term financial independence and security.
His qualifications include CFP®, Dip FP, GDM and is a member of FAAA, CA ANZ and AICD. He is a Certified Financial Planner and specialises in financial planning and risk protection.
Adam is also a director of MDRT Oceania, part of the world's largest Financial Services Association. He is a keen world traveller and enjoys good food and wine, then burns off the extra calories by bushwalking and skiing with his family and friends.
Jordan Dinning
Jordan is a Director with Bartons. He helps clients work on their business, rather than in their business. His qualifications include BCom (Acc), ATIA and PCA. He has a keen interest in business development and marketing strategies while focusing on proactively engaging with his clients to help them make informed financial decisions.
Jordan is a key member on the Community Committee and works very closely with Hutt St Centre and The Village Co and enjoys motorsport, travelling, water skiing and supporting his beloved Hawks.
Adrian Guarino
Adrian is a Director at Bartons, serving as the Head of Strategic Advice and Senior Financial Advisor. He specialises in providing comprehensive strategic advice and tailored portfolio solutions to clients with complex needs. Adrian has extensive experience across various advisory businesses, both public and private, where he advised high net worth individuals and commercial business owners.
Adrian holds a Bachelor of Commerce with majors in Financial Planning and Finance and is a certified SMSF Specialist Advisor™. Adrian has also successfully completed the Financial Advisor Exam.
He is an active member of the Financial Advice Association Australia (FAAA) as well as the SMSF Association. He is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) where he completed the Foundations of Directorship™ program.
Outside of his professional commitments, Adrian enjoys spending quality time with his wife and their four children. He also loves to catch up with friends and family over good food and wine. Adrian also enjoys going to the gym, watching Soccer and AFL and is a devoted Sydney Swans fan.
Matt Baczyk
Matt is a Chartered Accountant and a Senior Manager in our Business Advisory and Tax team where he specialises in assisting Health Professionals with their tax and financial needs. This interest in assisting Health Professionals began with Matt’s involvement in his family's medical practice and then developed during his professional career with his contribution to teams and accounting firms dedicated to assisting this sector.
In addition to his Bachelor of Commerce (Acc) and CA, Matt is currently undertaking his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with the goal of engaging in strategic business discussions and providing appropriate advice to clients.
Matt enjoys attending a variety of sporting events as well as cooking for family and friends.
Chris Jarvis
As Chief Financial Officer for the Bartons Group of companies, Chris collaborates closely with the Directors, overseeing comprehensive financial management across all divisions. His responsibilities extend to corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and human resources, in addition to leading the Bartons Culture Committee.
Chris is a CPA, and has a Masters in Professional Accounting and a Bachelor of Science. Before joining Bartons, he gained extensive financial experience across various industries in Australia, Belgium, and Ireland.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys traveling with his family and is handy with a squash racquet, along with having a broader passion for music.
Chris Zucker
Chris is a shareholder in Bartons and holds dual roles as Senior Financial Advisor and Operations Manager. He holds a Master of Applied Finance (MAppFin), an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) AdvDipFS(FP) and is an associate member of the Financial Advice Association of Australia (FAAA).
Chris plays a pivotal role in managing the compliance and operational aspects of Bartons’ Australian Financial Services License (AFSL) along with providing clear and comprehensive financial advice to clients.
Chris specialises in pre-retirement planning, superannuation, investment management, portfolio construction and is accredited to advise on Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs).
Outside of his professional life, Chris is a dedicated father of two young boys and enjoys playing the guitar, with occasional performances at music venues around Adelaide.
Adam Sullivan
Adam is a dedicated Senior Financial Advisor with over 15 years in the financial services industry. He holds a Bachelor of Economics, Bachelor of Commerce, Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning and is accredited to advise Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs).
Adam is committed to providing tailored strategies to help families and individuals to ensure the optimisation and protection of wealth and, when the time comes, its transfer to the next generation.
Essential to tailored strategies, Adam takes a holistic approach to financial advice, considering all aspects of his clients’ financial situations to deliver comprehensive and effective solutions.
David De Angelis
David is a Financial Advisor at Bartons with a strong commitment to helping clients achieve financial independence.
David holds a double degree in Commerce and Finance (BCom, BAppFin) and a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning (GradDipFinPlan) and having recently completed all the requirements of the rigorous Professional Year, he possesses fresh knowledge of industry regulation and advice strategy.
His experience lies in insurance and superannuation planning, delivering tailored strategies that protect and enhance the financial wellbeing of his clients.
Outside of professional pursuits, David is a car enthusiast and enjoys sampling Adelaide’s restaurant scene.
Teagan Loveridge
Teagan is a Financial Advisor at Bartons. She has been working in the financial services industry for nearly 10 years and at Bartons since early 2022.
Teagan holds a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning (GradDipFP) and has passed the Financial Advisor exam.
Primarily working with young professionals, she finds joy in guiding them through life milestones, offering personalised financial strategies at varying stages of life. It’s this impact on her clients’ financial trajectory that brings her the greatest fulfilment.
Outside of work, she is likely exploring new restaurants with friends and family. She’s equally passionate about fitness, often found enjoying a run or any activity that gets her outdoors.
Teresa Reid
Teresa is a Lending Advisor at Bartons, holds a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management, and specialises in residential lending for our medical professional clients.
Teresa emigrated to Australia in 2012 and has been working in the lending division at Bartons since 2016. Prior to 2012 Teresa worked in the finance industry in the UK for the best part of 20 years.
In Teresa’s spare time she enjoys the outdoors, walking her dogs and spending time with friends and family.
Paul Luders
Paul is Operations Manager and leads our lending team. He has an extensive banking and financial services background, specialising in professional services and business development. Building strong client relationships and helping our clients achieve their financial goals.
In his spare time Paul enjoys time with his family, regular fitness sessions, playing baseball, travel and his lifetime support of Carlton.
